ForestVision
employs a completely object based architecture which translates
into a dynamic, efficient structure that can readily evolve with
the changing business environment and your requirements. Relatively
small businesses through to the largest corporates share the same
requirements: mapping, spatial resource definition, information
storage and management, operation scheduling, yield and cash flow
planning, analysis and reporting as well as day-to-day activities
such as plot analysis and contractor payments. All are efficiently
dealt with within ForestVision. Although small businesses may need
minimal security, larger businesses will require controlled user
access, secure data bases and maps, and may also wish to operate
a single 'Master' database. These requirements have been addressed
within ForestVision architecture and design.
Data
Entry
Free
data entry program for ForestVision - supports the entire ForestVision
dynamic data set and allows you to send relevant forest information
to your contractors, which can be imported straight back into ForestVision
upon completion. ForestVision DE provides all the ease-of-use and
feature-rich functionality of ForestVision, and even allows map
editing for operation coverage and forest features. The program
vastly improves the exchange of information within and between organizations,
but does not support any of the ForestVision static data or high-end
features (GIS, reporting, scripting etc).
